Hi,
Since the update the image store on my site has given up the ghost and packed it in…
When customers buy image downloads from my site they no longer get the images, neither do their sales appear in my dashboard however payment is still taken. One thing I notice is the removal of the details form inbetween shopping cart and paypal and I wonder if the issues stem from this?
Prior to the upgrade the process was:
Add to cart > Click Check Out (Pay Pal) > Fill out Name, Address, Email etc > Redirect to PayPal for Payment > Post payment redirect back to site > Images sent in email.
Now the process is:
Add to Cart > Click Check Out (PayPal) > Redirect to PayPal for Payment > Post payment redirect back to site > Nothing. (No notifications, no sales recorded, no transaction number)
I wonder whether the absense of this form means sales are not inputted and the email address to send these photos to is not picked up? When selecting other payment methods (Unfortunatley no other methods are supported in UK) The form reappears. Can you please help?
For test please see store.jessicafd.com and click ‘My Gallery’ and use ID: test p/w: test, you will see that clicking checkout redirects straight to PayPal and does not capture customer info first??
I have tried reinstalling and resetting settings.
Thanks a bunch 🙂
James

The process for paypal has never work how you mentioned, the only process that works like that is the email checkout.
Did anybody made modification the the plugin for you? Also what version of the plugin you had before?
We will look at the sales reports on the dashboard

No one has made any modifications, ever since the most recent update notifications aren’t being delivered to customers and neither are image downloads when they purchase an image download, is there any way of diagnosing what could be wrong?
Thanks,
James

if you are still having problems you can go back to the previous version of the plugin.
one thing that we can help, is if you can provide any php error messages on your server log.

Let me know if I can help at all but thanks for your assistance
