I see there is a widget you can use in the sidebar that shows the latest images. But how do you show a single thumbnail that links to the relevent gallery for each gallery? Like you have in the sidebar of this page – each thumbnail links to a different gallery.
There is a widget feature with the plugin but you need to activated. go to settings > general check widget and save.
Once activated you will see a Image Store widget available
Yes – I know how the image store widget works. But it only seems to have the option of showing thumbnails for individual photos and when you click on one of those thumbnails it goes to the relevant gallery. I would like to show one thumbnail for each gallery just like the ‘Image Store’ page does. It looks like you have that working in the sidebar of the forums pages under the heading ‘Galleries’. How does this work?
The widget should display only one image per gallery and link back to it. here is screenshot of my settings
ok – thanks. That works but only when you set it to ‘Random Images’. If it is set to ‘Latest Images’ it shows all of the most recent images (not 1 per gallery). It would be good if latest images showed 1 thumbnail per gallery.
