I was wondering if it was possible to show the number of views for a post right in the admin screen (as a column in the list of posts). This way we can order the list of posts to show the most popular posts at the top of the list.

You may be able to do it with a plugin or if you know abit a coding you can add a new column. Here is a plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/codepress-admin-columns/.
The value for the column is store in the “Custom Field” (_popular_views) you are using the the widget.
