Hi Thanks,
We have now changed the “downloadable” in the price list and checked through end to end. This is now all working! The image is available to download on the thank you page.
Thanks for you help
Jameschiller149ParticipantHi guys,
Thanks for the quick feedback. We have now rest the plugin from the setting panel and ran through payment from end to end. The following screenshots is what is now happening. We are getting the payment through paypal. we are receiving and order number (as a customer which was not happening previously) and we are getting an email saying “thanks for your order”
Thank you page with transaction number: http://www.jamesmallorie.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Screen-Shot-2013-10-14-at-10.13.14.png
Backend email set-up with replacement tags: http://www.jamesmallorie.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Screen-Shot-2013-10-14-at-10.16.30.png
Email: http://www.jamesmallorie.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Screen-Shot-2013-10-14-at-10.29.15.png
The problem is however (as you can see from the screen grabs) that we still do not have access to download the image once we have paid for it. A download link in the email confirmation would be good, but ideally one on the “thank you” page is what we are really looking for. The process of (select image > Cart > Payment gateway > return > thankyou/download.link)
Is that supposed to happen automatically? Should it come from the %instructions% tag ( i think that is what is not being brought through as its in the set-up but nothing is on the thankyou page? Thanks again for your help so far and we are looking forward to using this plugin as it was intended 🙂
Thanks
Jameschiller149ParticipantHi There,
Its been a while. I have just updated the Image store to the new version hoping that this would resolve the problem, but it unfortunately still persists. I can make a payment through the live paypal payment gateway and it will return me the website, but the following is what i am returned to. It just looks like the information is not being brought through on the transaction page.
The screenshot is here: http://www.jamesmallorie.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Screen-Shot-2013-10-07-at-12.22.04.png
Any help you can give would be great.
Thanks
Jameschiller149ParticipantWe have found a ipn_log.txt in the image-store folder. There are 7 entries in there but each one is related to www.sandbox.paypal.com – there is nothing in there from http://www.paypal.com. Does this help?
thanks
chiller149ParticipantHi,
I have taken the site from the development server and put it on the live server. I can access all the pages fine now (with no leading/ip) but after testing we are still seeing the same problem, we are using a live paypal account (just a penny while we test) the plugin directs to paypal fine and lets us pay, re-directs us back to the website but there is no download link and there is no transaction in the back end.
The link to the plugin is here: http://www.jamesmallorie.com/photos/summer-solstice-at-stone-henge-2013/photos/
Thanks
chiller149ParticipantHi,
Thanks for the quick response! Thats great to hear about the image sizing (saves a lot of work for the back end thanks) The plugin is on a live site, the ip is on one of our dev servers its just using a temp web address until we have the last bugs ironed out, so paypal should not have a problem seeing the site. Or are you saying that using a temporary web address would stop paypal seeing the site?
Thanks
