Great. I got this to work. I placed define(‘WPLANG’, ‘it_IT’) into the wp-config file instead of wp-settings and it worked.

This plugin has saved me so much trouble and have only ever needs minor tweaks to get it to do new things. Thanks
I essentially have tried to get the image store in Italian. As I am using the 3.3.1 version of wordpress and the 3.0.4 version of image store i have put the MO & PO files into wp_content/languages/_ims/
What else is required to activate localisation in the plugin?
I have even tried forcing the localisation in core.php by typing in the localisation ims-it_IT but to no success.
