Thanks for the suggestion but I have disabled the plugin and the orders still don’t show up. We have moved hosts and the issue persists. Additionally, if the user clicks the return to [site] paypal button they get redirected to a page not showing any order details. http://i.imgur.com/5TIq39R.png
kyle7787ParticipantYes, there is no ipn_log.txt in the root of the plugin and IPN was originally not set but I have tried to set it and change it to the root of the site and it didn’t make a difference.
What kind of conflict could you see? The only plugin recently installed was W3 Total Cache. Other than that the site has had the same plugins installed for the last couple years.
kyle7787ParticipantOkay I don’t think my error was the same thing that the other user was experiencing.
I have enabled IPN but the only way the sale shows up in the sales section is if the user explicitly clicks the orange “return to [site]” button at the end of the paypal checkout process, this redirect the user to the home page. If the user does not click this button and just exits out the order will not be processed by the image store. I think that this is definitely an unnecessary step. Why doesn’t the plugin add the order when it takes the user to paypal to pay and then update the payment status on the redirect?
One thing to note is that even though the IPN URL is set to http://www.mysite.com/, when I look at the IPN log in paypal for a transaction the notification URL is set to http://www.mysit.com/galleries/%5Bgallery-name%5D/shopping-cart
kyle7787ParticipantOkay so I am narrowing it down a little. Firstly, I don’t have IPN enabled, should I? Second, the orders show up if the user clicks “return to [site]” after making a payment, but if they just click out of paypal at this point the orders don’t show up.
kyle7787ParticipantThanks for the reply; however, that thread doesn’t actually state how the user fixed the problem. Did they just toggle between sandbox and production?
kyle7787Participantbump. And do you think this is a limitation of the plugin or a limitation of paypal? I think it is occurring because it can’t fit enough of the items into the URL.
kyle7787Participant@Salsa-Trips what he is saying is that it does sort it by file name, and I can confirm that this is working for me. What theme are you using? I was having issues with the plugin because of errors in my theme.
kyle7787ParticipantI am still having this issue, I think that the multiple headers issue is related to the no information on the transaction page or sales page. I don’t know what possible could be causing this and I am using FatCow for a host.
kyle7787ParticipantThis plugin is the best. The reason you can’t see this topic unless logged in is because his site is cached. Unless you are logged in then it shows you the current site.
kyle7787ParticipantAlso I don’t get the information in the backend or on the transaction page.
kyle7787ParticipantI am also having this issue and I do not have pdt selected.
kyle7787ParticipantI did more testing in Firefox. When you check out and click return to it will take you back and say thank you for the order but it doesn’t give a transaction ID and it doesn’t show up in the sales page.
kyle7787ParticipantOkay great I sent you an email.
kyle7787ParticipantI checked but this option is not selected. The tab just doesn’t seem to exist. If I change the anchor to #payment in the url to try and manually access the section, it it highlights the reset tab hub doesn’t display anything.
kyle7787ParticipantI put the site in debug mode and it seems it is throwing up some PHP errors. I am not sure if these are causing the payment tab to malfunction but here is the URL to the pastebin.
