Hax, thanks for the reply and the links.  Yes I found this material over the weekend, which is why I want to see if I can work it out (not sure if that is realistic, but I will give it a go).

However this doesn’t really answer my questions.  What I really want to know is “which file do I edit in order to change the default way The Loop is executed?”  If I change the Taxonomy-ims_album.php and leave it in its default location, will that over-ride the default?  Or is there something else I need to do?

Thanks for the reply.  I see there may be some issues with the quick fix version, so I will hold on that for the minute.  I have seen on some other posts reference to a file called “taxonomy.php”.  I am using iThemes Builder with my site, and there is no Taxonomy.php file.  There is a file called it-taxonomy.php.

On other posts, it says that if you don’t have taxonomy.php, you can create it yourself, but I can’t find any information about what that means. Do I just take a copy of your sample file and rename it and put it somewhere?  Or is there code that needs to be changed in the taxonomy.php file.
