ShuParticipant
I found the answer but i discovered that it is not entirely the main problem after all. Maybe you can give me a clue for my issue:
I want to create different pages within wordpress (using my own page templates) which all have their own sidebars on it. I want to load different image store galleries using their unique id’s but with the complete store functionality. Which code do i need to provide store functionality within my own page template. Because when i use ims-gallery id=”” it displays the correct gallery but not the store functionality. Can i use code from the original image store template, but i am not exactly sure which php file is the template file where the image store function is being called. My knowledge of php isn’t that good. Hope you can give me an idea, or tip on how to use this within different page templates?
ShuParticipantThanks Hax,
That i understand but… what i mean to ask is that you cant set the gallery template to page template. You can use the page template option within the general album template options but not within the Gallery template. And i want to assign the galleries with different and their own page template. Hope i explained my question better now : ) Hope you can help me further…

Would it be optional if you could make this feature personal for me within the plugin? If so and you are interested making this special feature, what are the cost? If not i will look what the options are in the standard options within the plugin…Greets,
ShuShuParticipantHi there,
I guess i had sort of the same problem and it is still working a bit strange within my domain. It looks like a owner permission issue within my webhosting environment but i followed these steps and now it is working great!
1. First created a new gallery within the image store gallery and pointed to the dir where i want to put the images
2. By hand and ftp i created the directory and -resized dir, i give both folders the 777 permissions
3. Now i can use the upload image store options within my gallery and all is working fine!!!Important that you follow the steps in correct order. Once you have made the folder it looks to ve working great and i can delete edit and add pictures within the gallery.
Hope this will work out for you just as it did for me… Just as Hax mentioned to me it is a permission issue but how it works precisly i dont know…
Good luck!

ShuShuParticipantOk i now also think that it is a permission problem because when i create a new gallery folder the problem starts al over again : (
I will again create al the folders manually and see what happens than. I will also contact my isp maybe they can change some setting which gives the plugin the complete abillity to create and adjust files within the image store gallery root folder.
ShuParticipantHax,
I dont know if you tried something regarding the possibility of a path issue, because i changed the rights in the plugin/imagestore folder….
But IT WORKS : )
If you did something it would be great to know what you did.
I can upload and see the images within image store, i can edit and save them, and they show up in the gallery page.
But only one thumb is not showing within the image store gallerie backend but you can see it within the gallery page, strange euhhh…
It is great that the upload function is now working..
Thanks thanks thanks…
ShuShuParticipantHax,
There is something i discovered when i looked at the automatic created and resized images by the plugin (resized thumbnail images).
These files are created by wordpress and so the apache user is the owner of the file. I cant change the permissions settings on these specific files. They have the 666 permission on it. Would this give a problem when showing the thumbs within the image store and gallerie page?
ShuParticipantHax,
Indeed it is all a bit strange : (
For a new test i created via ftp a gallerie folder named test with the 777 permissions, also uploaded the images within this folder with the same rights before creating a gallerie item within the image store. When i scan the folder within image store it finds the images and automatic it creates the resize images within the folder. I can now also modify the images and save them but still i cant see the thumbnail images within the image store or gallerie page. But now they are there within the folder…
I must say that i don’t quite understand what is going wrong regarding the permissions settings? Maybe you have a clue? Or should i contact my provider regarding the rights on this folder? Maybe they can force these settings within this specific image store folder?
Hope you have a hint for me : )
ShuParticipantno probs : )
if you need something more just let me know

ShuParticipantGreets Hax,
Did you receive the email with the user account info for my wordpress environment?
Ciao!
ShuShuParticipantThanks for your quick reply!
Nope, no problems adding/uploading images within the wordpress media library. That is all working fine.
I will send you a email with the user info so when you have the time you can take a look at my image store environment.
Thanks for so far!
Greets,
