I think I found the solution — click on “force ssl” in the gallery settings. I think the issue was that Paypal was sending info back to the secure site, not the unsecure one, so the info wasn’t getting through. Seems weird that it wouldn’t be automatically force ssl, but there it is.
I’m figuring out a couple more issues, but will keep poking around to try to figure it out.
vfParticipantGood to know that I’m not the only one. It must be a bug in the system.
Speaking of which — I’m not getting email updates for responses to this issue and it doesn’t appear the list of support issues unless I’m logged in. Very strange.
Should I go for a version 2? It looks like a great plugin.
vfParticipantAlso, I did try installing your plugin on a fresh wordpress install to no avail, so it doesn’t appear to be a plugin conflict problem. It was on the same server though if that matters. I do think it’s something to do wiyh paypal settings though.
vfParticipantThanks for checking this out for me. I looked at the link you provided and then looked at my set up. Unfortunately, I didn’t have PDT turned on, so it doesn’t sound like that is the exact issue.
I’m very new to this, so there might be another setting I need to do on my Paypal account? The instructions just said to enter your Paypal address, so I did that. Do I also need to tell it the “return page” in order to make it work in my Paypal profile? Is there something else I need to do on Paypal’s side (like set up an IPN?). Again, I’m pretty new at that, so I’m probably missing something small. I looked through all of the Paypal tags in the forum to see if there was something, but couldn’t find anything.
Thanks for your help.
