    Hi,

    There is no way to edit titles or captions for uploaded images in galleries enev though the UI states that I should be able to.

    Any ideas?

    Can you explain a bit more what is problem that you are having. Are titles and captions not saving or you can’t find where to change them

    I’m having the same issue. I uploaded 75 photos to a gallery, but four of them didn’t finish loading, so I had to add them separately. I have the gallery set to be ordered by image title, so I had them titled 1001, 1002, etc. I wanted to number these last four photos so that they would appear in order, but for some reason, I can’t edit their title. I can’t add/edit captions or titles, but can only click and drag the order. This doesn’t really work when I’m trying to take the last four photos on page four and put them on page one.
    Maybe I’m missing a way to do this, but I’ve been trying to figure this out for quite some time.

    Just to clarify – I can edit the titles while I am in the process of uploading and haven’t saved the gallery yet. Once the images have been saved in the gallery, I can’t go back and edit titles. I have to delete and re-upload photos if I want to change their titles [at least that’s the only way I’ve figured out how to fix this issue.] There’s probably something we’re both overlooking, but it’s still a massive problem for me.

    I couldn’t duplicated the issue are you on the second, third page on the galleries (backend) do you see any errors on your page or server log?

    I have the same problem. Title/Caption fields are inactive so I can’t change titles…

    I can confirm the same problem in 3.1.3.  Latest Firefox on OS X.  Steps:

    Galleries > Add New
    Enter a title (e.g Test) and Upload an image (title and caption are editable)
    Click Publish .

    After form submit / screen reload, the title and caption fields of the image are not editable (does not allow focus).

    It appears there is a layer obstructing this table row.  See screenshot from the Visual Event bookmarklet (the 3rd row is a freshly-uploaded image that’s not obstructed). http://cl.ly/image/1o0T1k0L1d1v

    Workaround: by pressing Tab repeatedly you can focus any title or caption fields to edit.  They just can’t be clicked to focus.
