I’ve seen this has been an issue for others, but I’m unsure of the fix.
I switched from Blogger to WordPress a little over a month ago and have been using Popular Widget since that time. However, only the posts that I’ve published since the switch are being counted and included by the plugin. According to Google Analytics, some of my older posts are getting many more views. I tried another popular post plugin and it showed the correct posts, but I didn’t like the format as well. I’d really like to get this plugin to work. Any ideas?
And I’ve tried switching the settings. Even uninstalled, deleted all of my files and reinstalled. Since having the same issue.

Our plugin saves the data in database and only pageviews since the plugin was installed is collected. But it does collect information on new and old post. You will have to change the date display limit to display older post in the widget.
If you had another plugin collecting data in the database using the post metadata, there is a setting in the widget to change the value. You will have to know what was the old post metadata key
