I’m stumped.Thanks.

August 7, 2012 at 12:14 pm #48914chrispieGParticipantGlad I’m not the only one battling for support.
August 8, 2012 at 10:18 am #48943Xpark MediaKeymasterthis topic was address before on other topics. let me explain how the albums work, the albums are taxonomies just like categories or tags.
By default the album pages will display using the taxonomy.php template on your theme. if you don’t have this template in your theme you need to create it or change theme.
You can also use the template provided by Image store inside the “theme” folder use the “taxonomy-ims_album.php” file to set up the albums.
If you need professional help, I can help you set up the plugin in your site sent your issues and requirement to [email protected] for a quote.
I hope this helps.
August 9, 2012 at 12:12 am #48966chrispieGParticipantHey Hax,
Thanks for that, but I’m afraid it is beyond me to create anything the way you suggested, and would probably need professional help.
A much easier way for me would just be to have unlimited amounts of galleries showing on the default image store page for my customers to view and then choose which one is relevant to them, and buy images accordingly, but there isn’t a setting to set this. I can upload as many as I want, but only 5 show. (I know I have opened another thread on this issue. Sorry). That way I don’t have to create albums.
Is there any possibility to build in a function for setting up and publishing albums the same way as doing it with galleries, where the galleries just get put into albums, and the albums get published?
Thanks for the plugin. It has really helped me plenty.
August 9, 2012 at 10:33 pm #48980Xpark MediaKeymasterThere are 4 settings that can help you setup the image count on your site.
Under the “general” tab you can set the template and count for the galleries, test a few templates from the dropdown menu to see wich works better on your site.
To control the number of images in a galleries and the template look under the “gallery” tab.
Remember that you can not use the shorcode you need to use the standar links.
Could you please provide a link to your site?

Thanks for the reply mate. I have tried to do what you said in the above post,, but let me just make sure I understand you correctly:
The general tab is in the ‘settings’ menu? If so, there isn’t a count for the galleries in the general tab, only the amount of albums. Even though I have loaded 9 galleries, only 5 show on the image store page of my site. I have actually played with the idea of just creating more images store pages as child pages to the parent page (Image store) and subdividing everything into categories where I won’t need more than 5 galleries per page. But what if I do need more than 5 galleries per page? Then I’m stuck with the same problem again.
Controlling the number of images in a gallery per page isn’t an issue, but thanks anyway for the help. Much appreciated.
Speak soon.
August 15, 2012 at 9:41 pm #49129chrispieGParticipantApologies for not waiting for a reply to this post, but is has been 5 days now. Is there anything forthcoming on the issue mentioned above, or is 5 galleries the max I will be able to load per page?
Thanks.
August 16, 2012 at 1:56 am #49147Xpark MediaKeymaster@chrispieG only galleries that do not require password ( none-secure ) will show on the “image store page” unless you change the shortcode or set up a gallery template like I mentioned above
August 16, 2012 at 1:34 pm #49172chrispieGParticipantThanks for that. All my galleries are non-secure, but still only a max of 5 show up on the page. Why is this?
Can I not get more than 5 galleries per page without setting up a gallery template or changing the shortcode?
August 16, 2012 at 11:23 pm #49184Xpark MediaKeymaster@chrispieG, if you don’t change the shortcode the plugin uses the site’s default post limit, which must be 5. This is to prevent overloding your page or server. The shortcode that you need is:
[imstore count=false]
to show all galleries but it may overload the page depending in how many galleries you have, if you want a specific number use[imstore count=10]
August 17, 2012 at 6:43 am #49196chrispieGParticipantThanks Hax. Will check it out and see if it works.
August 17, 2012 at 6:52 am #49197chrispieGParticipantThanks Has. Just changed the code and it does work. You’re the man/woman. Thanks for a great Plugin and expect a donation!
