Hi all,
I like my customers to buy the rights to an image before they can order prints. For example, a customer has a photoshoot with me. I then show them the proof images, they decide what they like and buy the rights to each image they like. Then they are able to order what ever prints they like of those images. I dont want the customers to be able to just buy a print without the rights to go with it.
I have not found a way for this to effectivly be done in the image store. If there is already a way that I have missed then please somebody tell me.
The idea I had was for customers to look through all of the photos in one gallery, buy the rights to what they like and then be given access to a second sub gallery that only showed the images they had purchased rights to which would allow them to buy prints at that stage.
I can do this manually at the moment. ie. wait for a purchase notification to come through then add a new gallery for them to buy prints from. The downside is it takes time to do and the customers have to wait and complete their puchase in two goes. If I am away for a few days then they have to wait that long too.
It would great if there was a way to automate the process and have one checkout at the end.
