Custom fields for widget post titles (feature request?)

Firstly, great plug-in, nearly exactly what I was looking for.

What I think would be a great addition would be if we could use a custom post field for the title and/or description where present. Maybe a field we specify or one that we have to create for the purpose of this plugin.

I am a developer and have already adapted the plugin for my use – but I would much prefer if it was a feature of the plugin so I could update in the future.
