When a purchase is completed and the link is provided to download the pic (and the link is e-mailed to the customer) they return a blank browser page. I must have something configured wrong, but I can’t figure it out.
August 24, 2012 at 10:07 am #49342Xpark MediaKeymastercheck the file permission the user need to be able to read the files. Check your error logs on the server and please let us know if you see anything.
Also if you have really big image you might need to increase your memory limit

I was having a problem with 3.1.1 after you helped me where the image would download however it would just be a blank file of 7 MB. I had to tell clients to rename the files to .jpg. Now that i took the update hoping the file download fix stated in 3.1.2 would fix that but instead i get the same blank browser window.
You should still have access to the site. elizabethbphoto.com
Can you please help ASAP! I have a client trying to download images today!!!

August 24, 2012 at 9:07 pm #49356rtb1982ParticipantI am going to go ahead and do a restore of my site, however i would still like to know what is causing that issue so i can update to the latest version soon. I am setting up a test site going forward to install updates to before i apply them on my live site.
If the problem is still happening on the test site perhaps the fix can be released here or in the next version and I will try that.

Any luck, i logged into mjrka’s page and it appears it has the same problem on 3.1.3. Seems like when you click the link it calls the download.php module and doesnt do anything. If you need anything else on my test site let me know.
Additionally I dont see any place to clear cache on my server when logged into my hosting domain which is go daddy so im not sure how to clear cache on the server.

I inserted the new code that you sent me to try but still have the same issue. Please let me know the next step to take.
Thanks
September 2, 2012 at 1:52 pm #49541Xpark MediaKeymasterThis is a bug, it was fixed on version 1.3.4 please update.
September 3, 2012 at 12:50 pm #49575rtb1982ParticipantOk I can download the files now with 3.1.4 however i still have the issue where IE 8 or 9 and firefox downloads the jpeg as a unknown file type with no extension.
If i go in and rename the files as to add a .jpeg extention they open fine but clients are confused by this.
If i instead right click the links and do a save as it will correctly associate with a jpeg and open fine but clients tend to just left click and download the images.
I do not have any of these problems with chrome meaning i can left click or right click download and it works either way.
September 3, 2012 at 1:56 pm #49580Xpark MediaKeymasterdo all your image have an extension on the server? I will do a full test on IE and let you know my findings
September 3, 2012 at 2:20 pm #49582rtb1982ParticipantYes all of the images are uploaded as name.jpg or jpeg. I just verified again via ftp.
October 8, 2012 at 9:49 pm #50282Xpark MediaKeymasterthere was a second bug, the issue was fixed on version 1.3.6
