    Hax,

I have only a few galleries showing up in image store however when backing up my production site last night before upgrading from version 3.2.0 to 3.3.0 I noticed that it was backing up a lot of galleries from the past year in my wp-content/_imsgalleries directory. I was under the impression that trashing and deleting these would have removed them from the back end hosting.

It could be that they were in the trash before deleting them permanently when upgrading the plugin at some point in time and that just removed them from image store but left them on the back end.

My question to you now is

    1) Is there a way to pull them back into image store so they could be deleted permanently?

    2) Is it ok to just delete them from the back end hosting or will that leave unclean records in the database that point to nothing.

    2) If it does leave unclean records in the database is there a way I can check then in a certain table or something and delete them or is it best to just leave it alone and delete from the back end?

There is an option in settings > general that controls how files are handle if you want to delete files from the server be sure that the option is checked.

    1) You create a new gallery, add/change the folder path under the import box and use the scan the folder option or you can just delete the folder.

    2) There was a bug in earlier versions where all data in the database were deleted properly, but not the files were not. Deleting the files should be fine.

    3) It will be better to leave the alone, but if you want you to check the “post” table and looks for the “ims_gallery” content type.
