How does the customer functionality work? I have set up a customer. When I set up a gallery I am unable to associate a customer with it. If I sign on as the customer and then log into a gallery my details don’t appear in the checkout, so I don’t know what this is for?
May 22, 2013 at 2:10 am #53176Xpark MediaKeymasterYou can associate customer to galleries so that customer can login once and view all their galleries in one area (profile). This is especially helpful if the galleries are secured.
On checkout the customer information will be populated only if you are using the email notification option. This is because on other services (Paypal, Google, WePay ) the customer information may be different or may not be require at all.

June 13, 2013 at 7:40 am #53407studio-listParticipantHow can i adjust that after the login of a customers he is able to create an album by himself? I would like to have this function for the reason, that he can upload own fotos and the order from this album our prints?
June 16, 2013 at 5:07 pm #53445Xpark MediaKeymasterThe with the new Image store version 3.3.0 user will be allowed to create a “customer” account. If you want to allow them to create galleries you will need to install a roles plugin and allow the “customer” role to create galleries.
