Hi there, I’ve installed Image Store to make client proofing galleries for my client. I’m designing and building his website and I’ve never built a client gallery before so I’m new to this tool.
Here are some specifics:
Wordpress: v3.5.1
ImageStore: v3.2.5
Theme: ProPhoto4
Sample Gallery: http://clientsof.theheartsdesign.com/RobGrimes/galleries/sam-paul-2012-wedding/
I’ve seen the FAQ says:
The images are not showing in the front-end: Check the file permissions for the image-store/admin/_key folder .
Now I’ve looked for that precise folder under Plugins have found plugins>image-store>admin and no folder called “_key folder”. I also checked the wp-content>ims-galleries folder to see if there was anything I could change there but don’t know what folder to apply a ‘write’ capacity too. I don’t know if I should apply a full 777 write capacity through owner, group & public which I’m loathe to do as it opens the site to hackers through that folder.
Can you please advise with clearer instructions what write permissions need to be applied and where.
Thank you for your help. Hopefully I’ll then be able to see the gallery images on the site.

Thank you.

I’ve checked all the settings and tried to run the ‘regenerate thumbnails’ plugin until I realised that the imagestore plugin doesn’t store the media with wordpress files but in its own gallery management way.
I’ve now created three sample galleries, one after resetting the imagestore settings to default and I still get images showing at only 1px.
What do I need to do to reset / fix this. I’ve edited the settings > images to be 900 px on their longest length but don’t know what else I can do.
Thanks
Cathie.

.ims-img img { width: auto; height: auto; }
Thanks
Cathie.
Ps. This support case can now be closed, with thanks. - AuthorPosts
