    Is there a way to disable or remove Shipping information request from the Check Out? As I only want to offer downloads.

    Also, is there an option to enable downloading of selected favourites?

    you need to check the download option in all the images  in your price list, if all the items are downloadable on your shopping cart the shipping option will not show.

    also you can set you first shipping option with a value of $0 and do not add more options
