I need help getting my thumbnails to show up. There is just a dot, but no image. If you click above the image it will open up, or in slideshow you can view it. Please help so my clients can see their images when they get to the page!

Thanks,

November 16, 2012 at 1:34 am #51031Xpark MediaKeymasterI couldn’t access the gallery, is password protected can you please provide a gallery that we can access.
a few things you want to check: file permission, javascript errors, memory limit on the server (check your server log)
November 25, 2012 at 8:09 pm #51129AngelParticipantI have just updated from 3.1.6 to 3.1.9

Hax you should still have admin privileges if that helps 🙂
November 27, 2012 at 10:39 pm #51160Xpark MediaKeymasterit looks like it is permissions problem, have you check your server logs? the image url is returning and 500 error. There is really nothing I can do unless you provide some information on the error
November 28, 2012 at 6:36 am #51172AngelParticipantHi :), i have sent through an email, it may have gone to your junk, but this is what the error log in my ctp under image store plugin is telling me, not sure if this is what you were after.

November 28, 2012 at 7:07 am #51174AngelParticipantOne other question i do have though, not sure if it is just Chrome, but when i am in a gallery and i click the image to make it larger, the box around the image seems to be all funny, and the image is not inside it but half way down the page

November 28, 2012 at 7:24 am #51175AngelParticipantsorry for the multiple posts, it would not let me edit… The image order is also not working for me atm, i have it at custom / descending … but it is stuck on custom / ascending …and will not change no matter which option i choose… strange…i have never noticed this before.
🙂 thanks so much for your help
November 28, 2012 at 6:02 pm #51179PaulParticipantHi Angel
(Ahhh i was googling and one of our old conversations came up in the search where you were able to fix and gave others who might have same problem the fix… and its working YAY!!!! i have saved the info so i should be good now to fix when i update )
Could you please elaborate, I have the same problem but I don’t understand what you did to fix. I am using ProPhoto 4 and I believe there is some issue with compatibility. REading these support forums there are a few instances of this problem and until now you seam to be the only one who has fixed it.
Regards Paul
November 28, 2012 at 9:26 pm #51182AngelParticipantHi Paul, i have replied to your email 🙂
December 3, 2012 at 2:45 pm #51280PaulParticipantThis is an update for all of you that, like me, have had problems with images not showing in your galleries.
I had this problem and submitted a enquiry to the support team at Prophoto recently.
First I must mention that this is a fix for Prophoto4 blogs and cannot account for any other themes in WordPress.
I must also mention that I am not a developer so please don’t ask me any questions as I won’t be able to help 🙂
This is their response, which worked great (for me):
Reload Prophoto
In your WordPress admin area, go to “ProPhoto” > “Customize” > “Advanced” > “Custom Code” and paste this code into the “Custom CSS” area, then click save:.ims-colorbox img {width: auto; height: auto;}
I hope this fixes your problem, If you are like me then you love the imagestore plugin but have been frustrated by this issue.
All the best
Paul
January 11, 2013 at 8:25 am #51697airdrummerParticipantthe css addition works to correctly size the thumbnail, but my problem is the thumnail is not correct: i get the 1×1 gif, not the specified one:
<img src=”http://bostoncamerata.org/blog/wp-content/plugins/image-store/_img/1×1.trans.gif” alt=”HelsinkiShootAH,TS” width=”150″ height=”150″ data-ims-src=”http://bostoncamerata.org/blog/wp-content/plugins/image-store/image.php?i=q3yIpJc” role=”img”/>
but the thumbs appear correctly in the admin page (altho editing is broken)-: so the file permissions for the image-store/admin/_key folder must be correct…
February 23, 2013 at 1:15 am #52349PaulParticipantWell the code worked with images not showing up on the gallery (3.2.0) when using colorbox:
.ims-colorbox img {width: auto; height: auto;}
Now (version 3.2.1) the images don’t show again on the front end just a big box with a small image link in the centre.
Any chance you could revise the code to get this to work again….
February 23, 2013 at 1:18 am #52350PaulParticipantpermalinks have been refreshed…
February 23, 2013 at 4:56 am #52390msoftParticipantHi, this is a cool plugin, and i really do apprecciate you guys releasing it for free!
I have a problem, i run the 3.2.1 on a clean, fresh 3.5.1 WP.
NO plugins installed!
It looks like I have a ” / “ problem.
If i create a new Gallery and call the Image Store Page, it shows the Gallery Picture, but if i click on the Gallerypicture, the images INSIDE the Gallery are not shown.
On my server, i see that the plugin creates inside “wp-content” just a folder like: ” imsgalleriesgallery-28 ” and not the ” _imsgalleries/gallery-28 ” as it used to be.
Please help me on this one!
See what it looks like at http://www.shop.pilotviews.com
