Hi,
Since I updated to latest 3.1.3 version my thumbnails have disappeared. The image numbers are still visible and you can see a small blank square where image thumbnail should be. When I click on this the image opens up into a window perfectly. Please can you help? I have deactivated and activated again, and also updated the permalinks.

I also get “error” for every image as i upload them to the gallery. It just says error, no other info. The images still appear in the gallery page as I upload them, but I have a whole load of “error” messages above them.

September 16, 2012 at 1:22 pm #49873Xpark MediaKeymastercan you guys please provide liks to your sites, also check file permissions on your server, and if you see any error on the error log please provide those also.
September 17, 2012 at 10:22 am #49895jonny8051ParticipantHi,
So here is the link –
http://jonhurstphotography.com/galleries/jon-me/
There is an error message that comes up each time it upload a photo, but all it says is error. If you click on the image that says “Caption” on the link provided, you will see a sreen image of the error message as it appears on the gallery upload page. I think there might be a problem with the thumbnail resizer as the main (large size) image is fine when it is opened.

September 18, 2012 at 1:47 am #49918Xpark MediaKeymasterlooks like you have some sort of data sanitation plugin that is removing the html5 attributes (data-ims) that allow the images to display.
Check and be sure that you don’t have any javascript error on you page
September 18, 2012 at 6:26 pm #49959laughlovelattesParticipantI see no errors whatsoever. If they are there, I’m missing them.
Here is a sample gallery: http://youaremysonshine.com/photo/galleries/sample/
Everything works perfectly except for the thumbnails!
Thank you for your help!
September 18, 2012 at 9:52 pm #49962Xpark MediaKeymasteryou have the same problem as @jonny8051, the attribute “data-ims-src” is missing from the image tags, this allows the dynamic image load, check your theme or plugins, this is being removed from the shortcode
September 19, 2012 at 8:22 am #49972laughlovelattesParticipant@jonny8051 and I are using the same theme (ProPhoto) so I’m guessing that’s the issue.
How do I go about fixing this?
Thanks again!
September 20, 2012 at 7:28 am #49985jonny8051ParticipantOK, It’s all fixed on my site now!
@laughlovelattes – you need to contact ProPhoto to get this fixed. They did some techy stuff to the code on my website to fix it. A guy called Jared Henderson is the guy who knows the problem and can fix it. Good luck.Jon
October 4, 2012 at 7:30 pm #50213AngelParticipantI seem to have this same issue, it started that i could not log into private galleries, it would just refresh and not open. so i updated thinking this was the problem, now nothing is showing up in the galleries, and still can’t login (yes the details are correct to login)
http://www.angelphotografix.com/image-store/
and a private gallery for you to try log into:
login seems to now be fixed, but the photos still not showing. I am not using a ProPhoto template.
thanks 🙂
October 4, 2012 at 8:27 pm #50215Xpark MediaKeymasterThe images are returning 500 error, do you see any error messages on your server log, you should could you provide the information. This could be because of file permissions or you are running the latest version of php.
The php problem should be resolved on the next release. download v3.1.6 RC1
October 4, 2012 at 9:17 pm #50219AngelParticipanthow do i install that new 3.1.6 version?
October 5, 2012 at 2:41 am #50223AngelParticipantjust found an error log in the image store folder, and yes there is lots of PHP fatal error ones.
