To begin with, this looks like an absolutely incredible plugin. I’ve been hoping to get something like this for years and just recently found it. It looks amazing and I definitely plan on supporting it with a nice donation if I can figure it out.
My problem is that I can go through the whole purchase process (I tried it in both the sandbox and with a real account), but when it returns to my site, it doesn’t list an amount for “total payment”, it doesn’t give a “transaction number”, and it doesn’t include any links for downloading the images.
I have double checked that the download option is checked on each pricing. It seems like my site isn’t getting information back from Paypal. Do you have any suggestions?

paypal IPN updateFebruary 26, 2012 at 9:09 am #45049vfParticipantThanks for checking this out for me. I looked at the link you provided and then looked at my set up. Unfortunately, I didn’t have PDT turned on, so it doesn’t sound like that is the exact issue.
I’m very new to this, so there might be another setting I need to do on my Paypal account? The instructions just said to enter your Paypal address, so I did that. Do I also need to tell it the “return page” in order to make it work in my Paypal profile? Is there something else I need to do on Paypal’s side (like set up an IPN?). Again, I’m pretty new at that, so I’m probably missing something small. I looked through all of the Paypal tags in the forum to see if there was something, but couldn’t find anything.
Thanks for your help.

March 3, 2012 at 2:16 pm #45205vfParticipantGood to know that I’m not the only one. It must be a bug in the system.
Speaking of which — I’m not getting email updates for responses to this issue and it doesn’t appear the list of support issues unless I’m logged in. Very strange.
Should I go for a version 2? It looks like a great plugin.

March 5, 2012 at 8:03 pm #45232vfParticipantI think I found the solution — click on “force ssl” in the gallery settings. I think the issue was that Paypal was sending info back to the secure site, not the unsecure one, so the info wasn’t getting through. Seems weird that it wouldn’t be automatically force ssl, but there it is.
I’m figuring out a couple more issues, but will keep poking around to try to figure it out.
September 1, 2012 at 11:35 pm #49511alunparryParticipantWhere is FORCE SSL in the gallery settings. I’m having this problem myself but can’t find such a setting anywhere. Can you help?
September 2, 2012 at 1:55 pm #49543Xpark MediaKeymasterthere were a few bugs on the IPN and email address delivery, They were fixed on version 1.3.4
