WPML Language Integration

I have the WPML plugin installed on my site to make the site multilingual. When the site is translated the url variable “?lang=it” is passed between pages.

However as soon as I access the image store the variable is lost and the site defaults back to the English version.

Is there are way to pass the url variable to the image store plugin.

If this is possible i can then add code to the image store plugin to recognise that the blog is in a different langauge and to trigger the ims locale files, translating the image store accordingly.
