When I click an image the browser tries to download image.php which I assume is a lightbox script or something?

what browser and what version are you using? what are your using? I just check it and it works fine on chrome and Firefox
Two different computers, IE9 on both tries to download image.php…it directly goes to the image(no lightbox) in Chrome and Firefox on both.
Running 3.0 on the latest wordpress.

somebody reported the same problem but did not post any solutions I tested on a pc on IE8 and IE9 and I did not get the file download. if you have any cache plugins clear the cache and also your server cache.
