A fresh install and try out of the Image Store plugin version 3.0.1.
The plugin looks great and i would really like to work with it within this WordPress Site, but i have the following problem:

I can’t upload any images. It creates the gallerie folder but doesnt upload the actual selected image(s) file within the folder. All rights on the gallerie upload folder are on 777. Within the plugin backend i can see the upload going to 100%, and i can see the published image info but i cant see the thumbnail? The file just isnt in the supposed upload folder?

I tried working with upload selected images and zip files.
    Both wont work.

I am totally new within WordPress and this plugin so any help or tips would be great! I can make a user account if you wish to try out the plugin installed within my environment.

Many many thanks, hope you guys can help out.

    Greets,
    Shu

    Thanks for your quick reply!

Nope, no problems adding/uploading images within the wordpress media library. That is all working fine.

I will send you a email with the user info so when you have the time you can take a look at my image store environment.

    Thanks for so far!

It looks like a permissions problem I know that you said that you changed the permission to 777 but I couldn’t modify any of the image store files to verify the permissions.

    Hax,

Indeed it is all a bit strange : (
For a new test i created via ftp a gallerie folder named test with the 777 permissions, also uploaded the images within this folder with the same rights before creating a gallerie item within the image store.

When i scan the folder within image store it finds the images and automatic it creates the resize images within the folder. I can now also modify the images and save them but still i cant see the thumbnail images within the image store or gallerie page. But now they are there within the folder…

I must say that i don’t quite understand what is going wrong regarding the permissions settings? Maybe you have a clue? Or should i contact my provider regarding the rights on this folder? Maybe they can force these settings within this specific image store folder?

Hope you have a hint for me : )

    Hax,

There is something i discovered when i looked at the automatic created and resized images by the plugin (resized thumbnail images).

These files are created by wordpress and so the apache user is the owner of the file. I cant change the permissions settings on these specific files. They have the 666 permission on it. Would this give a problem when showing the thumbs within the image store and gallerie page?

With the 666 permission the user should still be able to view and edit the files also it could be a path issue on the server could you change the permission on all the image store files so that I can edit them via WordPress, that way I can run some test.

also how big are your images?

    Hax,

I dont know if you tried something regarding the possibility of a path issue, because i changed the rights in the plugin/imagestore folder….

    But IT WORKS : )

If you did something it would be great to know what you did.

I can upload and see the images within image store, i can edit and save them, and they show up in the gallery page.

But only one thumb is not showing within the image store gallerie backend but you can see it within the gallery page, strange euhhh…

It is great that the upload function is now working..

    Thanks thanks thanks…

Ok i now also think that it is a permission problem because when i create a new gallery folder the problem starts al over again : (

I will again create al the folders manually and see what happens than. I will also contact my isp maybe they can change some setting which gives the plugin the complete abillity to create and adjust files within the image store gallery root folder.

    muza,

again permission problems make sure that your gallery folder is writable and that image-store/admin/key folder is writable and readable by the plugin
