I can’t figure out how to manage (delete or block) the images that users have purchased from the My Images tab of their profile.
I expected that if one cancelled or trashed their orders, their Download Images would also disappear, but apparently this is not the case. It seems like there is no relationship between the downloaded images and their sales.
This is -bad- for us. If a Customer downloads an image, we want to be able to block them from downloading that image later for many reasons (credit card chargeback, or security issue.)
Is there a way to do this that I’m not seeing? If not, I need…
a) a temporary workaround
b) can you put this on your feature request list as HIGH priority. Also: there should be a way to trash a user and all their sales data and linked images go away.
TIA,

We will look and see if there is a bug.

Doesn’t work.
As I wrote, there seems to be no relationship between the sales orders and the My Images code. I’ve gone so far as to delete all a Customer’s orders and they get the same list of Images to view/download as before.

My guess is that you are using a ‘real’ payment system. We are not. We are ONLY using the ’email receipt’ option (ie. no Paypal or Sage.)
There are a LOT of features that do not work (or work differently) with the e-mail only option. I don’t think the author thought there would be people doing what we want to do, but my guess is that lots of people will want to do this for various reasons.
April 8, 2014 at 12:45 am #78239Xpark MediaKeymasteryes, the email checkout works differently since you are not collecting payment we do not provide any links or image information and all validation has to be done by the user.
We did made improvements on the last release we will test the entire email checkout for issues. It is always assumed that all payment and delivery process will be done by manually by the store owner.
