I’m not sure what happened to my last post. Basically I updated my site and got the same issue as the original poster with the grey squares. The first time I opened the square it opened the images in carousel but after I deactivated/ reactivated the plugin and refreshed my permalinks I got a message to save or download the image.php file.

I then disabled the Nextgen gallery plugin which gave me the thumbnails back in the image store but still got the message to open of save the image .php.

Any help would be great as I have a requirements for both plugins.

    So i still don’t understand.

“The galleries get assigned by you, these are galleries that only the customer can access and that way you don’t have to send them a separate login for each gallery.”

I don’t create any galleries other than the initial secure image store gallery and issue the clients a username and password. They then create this account at checkout which then creates their own account word press site and it links to downloaded images that they purchased.

You are saying there is a way for me to link multiple image store galleries to a user account? I never have the users access images after a two week period and i don’t think i want to get into the habit of leaving their images up on my site forever as it will use up all my hosting space.

“You can’t delete the images purchased by customers you can only delete them by modifying the database”

How can i not delete images if i’m the admin….??? Again if i don’t delete them my hosting space will be used up.

You are saying after I cant ever delete these images even if i delete the image store gallery without modifying my database or deleting the image store plugin completely? “If you delete the image store completely it will remove all galleries”

Finally is there a way we can disable this if i don’t want or need this setup.

Perhaps I dont really understand the appeal as its not clearly documented. If I cant ever delete these images this just seems like a strange feature considering I will now have to manage all these extra WordPress accounts and use up space?

Ok so now playing with this some more i’m starting to understand it more. I see now that I have to click on the option in word press on the top right to edit my profile and look at my pictures.

The issue I have is I tried to purchase another image after I was already logged in, and it definitely does not add it to the Customer purchase login images. If I log out of the customer area and then purchase an image it does show up. Is there any way to get around that, as I can bet users would purchase and be looking at their images then want to buy another image and it will not be added to their previously purchased images.

Finally how do I delete these images and or how are they linked to the client gallery. If I delete the gallery from the image store does it delete the images from the secure gallery and from they word press customer profile and then delete the user account?

Or do I need to delete the image store gallery, then delete the profile as well to delete these images. Or do I have to do both then still go into word press and look for the images somewhere else to delete the images?

Again it may be better to be able to disable this if possible but could be useful.

    Thanks

To update on this playing around some more I do see that I can get a password emailed to me if im logged in as a user.

It looks like it creates a actual login on my word press site. But when I login with the password that it creates it just takes me to the site. I don’t see any links for previously purchased images or something like this.

    Am I missing something?

I am using wp 3.5.1. So is the issue with the version of jquery in my theme or is it another plugin that i have installed?

That link returns a 404 page not found.

I had the same issue after i updated my dev site to 3.2.5 all of the galleries i had were removed but they do show up under the count and the images were still on the server. I would like to know how to resolve this as well before upgrading to a new version since I have quite a few galleries.

    Hax,

What do you think about my idea on the Packages.. it may not be that easy to implement but those are some of my thoughts.

You can not have a dynamic promotion code that applies after a certain number of images is added to the cart. Nor can you have a promtion that changes say 20% off if you buy 10 and 30% if you buy 20 etc.

The best way to handle the CD would be to just make the digital download price equal to the cost per image you want on a cd and then you have to have static amounts and apply % off to that.

So you can setup your business to say you get x number of images on a CD with a particular package. So in this example you have a 10 image cd package. You make each digital download set to 4$ per image. They would add 10 images to the cart and would equal 40.00. Then y0u supply a 20% off coupon for that and make the condition >= to say 39.00 this way they can not get the 20% off unless they purchase 40.00 worth. Then you could have another package and promotion for 20 images 80.00 and a promo of 30% off >= 79.99.

When they checkout they will get a digital download link for all the images and you would then get a order showing which images were purchased. You could then put those images on a cd and ship them to the client.

Basically you have to be flexible with the way you charge in order to make it work.

Hi I cant speak for future plans from the developer but as of today this is not something that you can do.

There is no way in the plugin to set 10 images in a package and allow you to select 10 different images for that they have to all be the same image. Then when they buy the package you just take the amount and give them a print size for each listed in the package.

What i have requested as a wish list item would be the ability to select say 10 different images and when you click add to cart this would put each image on its own row each with a drop down to select the print size/ download in one pass.

If what i was requesting is implemented then perhaps you could have another menu option next to say favorites that said buy packages. which would then open a box to select the package of either prints or CD or both. Then that would open another container which would then have 10 lines with drop downs drop downs or something on each line allowing you to pick 10 different images.

Another way could be a buy packages screen which takes you to another gallery only this has some sort of counter that decrements each time that one picture is selected with a box saying like 9 out of 10 remaining each time you select an image. When 10 were selected it would say 0 remaining then you add to cart.

Wishful thinking but hey that’s how ideas and improvements are made.

You have to download all the images then supply the client with a promotion code to deduct the full amount.

So say you have the digital images set at 10.00 a piece and there are 10 images in the gallery. You would add them to cart and the subtotal/ total would amount to 100.00 . Then you would supply a promotion code to the client for an amount of 100.00 off which would zero out the order and allow them to checkout and download without paying.

The missing functionality to this which i have requested but we have not received is the ability to zip up all the downloads and provide one link to download. Currently the checkout will supply a download individual link for each image. So the client would have to click on 10 links to download 10 images. 10 would not be that painful however a gallery of say 40 and the clients would most likely complain.

    I hope this helps.
