I am still running an older version on my live/production site.
If you would like i can set up an account for you on my test word press site running the latest version where this issues is occurring.
Perhaps something was cached as i was testing all sorts of actions last night. I will clear all my browser cache etc and try to reproduce. By the way what do you mean by exclude the cart path?
The image that im trying to add is a edigital copy and downloadable.
To test this i selected a single digital download/ downloadable image.
The first time i try to add a digital download to cart it is still trying to apply shipping. If i remove the same image from the cart go back into the gallery and add it back to the cart as a downloadable image it then displays correctly with no shipping.
All digital images i add after that do not apply shipping (unless i add a print as that is expected)
If i close out the browser clear cache and start over i can repeat the same behavior each time. So it appears that there is an issue when adding the FIRST digtial copy/downloadable image to the cart.
When you say add empahsis do you mean I can change the test of that from “Checkout with” to something like “Click the PayPal Button to proceed to checkout and finalize your order (Even if balance is 0.00)”
Will that be ok or will that also break the plugin on update. If not where do i find the Checkout With String?
I got it to work. After updating the version somehow the existing galleries became visible but unpublished. After I re published the galleries im no longer getting the error.
1. You need to first make an image size (Name it Digital Download or something similar) in your price list with a unit size set to px.
2. Then you have to add that to your price list and check the box in your price list to make the image downloadable. You also need to check the box in your settings
3. Go under Settings>Gallery and check the box for Download Original Allow users to download original image if image size selected is not available.
Try those things and see if you get a download link.

Use Demo/Demo for the gallery to see what im talking about.
I have it set on the slideshow to show 18 images per page, and allow 5 pages. But you can see that this gallery is only showing the 1st 9 with no next for the page.
After more testing it looks like i can now add more print finishes, shipping, color options and color filters but im still having a problem adding more than 6 image sizes.
