The lightbox resizes itself base on the image size, if you want the lightbox to be bigger you need to make the image preview bigger, but for that the images that you upload need to be big enough to create the image preview.
other option to control the lightbox is to disable the default lightbox (colorbox) and install the jQuery Colorbox plugin and it will also allow you to change the colorbox theme
I am using lion (Lion 10.7.3) on my compter and I have not experience any problems. For the most part I am suing Chrome (17.0.963.56 ) and Firefox 10.0.2 and is all good with flash 11.1.102.55

This is not part of the plugin but you can make it work if you find a jquery plugin to do the hover for you and disable the standar lightbox(colorbox) on the plugin.

Currently this is only and admin option, you can only choose paypal payment or email notification. User can’t choose their payment option, but I really think this is a good option to implement.
Check your gallery settings, settings > gallery > “Images per page”. and try to use your “page” or “single” template to display the galleries

if you are going to add and display a lot of picture per page you will need to increase RAM on your server, also is not recommended that you display more than 20-50 picture per page, please use the pagination settings to reduce page load also try to reduce image quality for image previews.

again permission problems make sure that your gallery folder is writable and that image-store/admin/key folder is writable and readable by the plugin
