You may be able to do it with a plugin or if you know abit a coding you can add a new column. Here is a plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/codepress-admin-columns/.
The value for the column is store in the “Custom Field” (_popular_views) you are using the the widget.

can you try changing the sort order back to title, it may be a corrupt option in the database. If you continue having the problem we will add a fix.

This is not behavior that you can modify by settings. If you know a bit how taxonomies work on WordPress. You can modify the taxonomy template of your theme to achieve the desired results.
