The styles were change to comply with microformats that will improve the website SEO. Image store v3.1.0 was out for testing for a month many people helped improve it and provided feedback and they got a change to test it before moving it into their live sites.
I have suggested on my blog and some forums post to follow me on twitter, google plus or RSS on news for mayor upgrades and that way we can provide backwards support as much as possible and give you a chance to fix anything on the site that needs to be fix before moving it into production.
I am really sorry that you need to re-style your site, but for mayor upgrades I always recommend testing it on your development sites first. To temporally fix your problem you can reinstalled version 3.0.9

column can only be control by css, there is currently not an option on the plugin, sorry

Increase Gallery Columns@chrispieG only galleries that do not require password ( none-secure ) will show on the “image store page” unless you change the shortcode or set up a gallery template like I mentioned above
Sorry but no currently is is not an option you can increase only the price of the orignal image base on the paper the customer chooses, you can set a flat rate or percentages.
Check your folder file permissions, also it could be that your images are to big and it is getting out of memory error, check your server log
Make sure that you have paypal set up properly, make sure that palpal is sending IPN to your home page, and the return page allows post notifications.
Also check your server log for errors
@Paul you need to change the the permission on the images , use a ftp software to change permissions in bulk
@chrisb looks like you are not updating all the image store file “encrypt_id” was completely remove in 3.1.
@Paul here is a more detail explanation.
- javascript errors: use browser developer tools like firebug or javascript console, most browser have one look under windows or preferences
- directory and file permissions: use a ftp, ssh or host tools to check file permissions on your server, for the most part they should have a value of 775
- not deactivating and activating the plugin: just deactivate and active the plugin under the wp plugin screen.
- not enough memory resources set the “WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT”: if you re memory error on your site increate the memory my adding this code in the wp-config.php file
define('WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M'); - Problems with apache ”allow_url_fopen” fixed on 3.1.1: nothing to do here, is fixed now. if you have more question talk to your hosting service provider.
- conflicts with other plugins using or not setting WP_MEMORY_LIMIT or WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT properly: there is no easy question here, just deactivate all plugin and activate one by one.
glad to here that the galleries are working, sound like you are updating from an very old version of the plugin. you can always use the scan folder feature to rebuild the galleries and it should fix any problems.
