Everything works fine, the problem is using some of the cache plugins, I made a small change to the logout on version 3.0, hopefully this fixes the issue.

You have to activate the widget in the settings, is not activated by default to speed up the page load. Settings > General > Widget
FYI you can control the albums, and gallery templates in the settings if you want to modify the page layout

somethings is a cache on you images, reset your watermark, make sure that you are using the full path. What version of the plugin are you using?
no, is not an issue is set up that way to be able to scan the images again if you need to rescan the galleries, but I do realize that I could save server space by not saving the original in the _resized folder, and I am making that change on 3.0.0. if you want to received the latest updates follow me on Twitter or Google+
you should be able to rename the page with no problem but if you deleted the page or the shortcode, currently the only way to get it back is to completely uninstall the plugin and re installing it. I know this is a big issue and I adding a way to fix it using setting on version 3.0.0. follow me on twitter on google+ for more updates.
comments display are control by the theme, but you can close comments on the gallery too.
The best way to modify your css is to overwrite the css in the image store using your theme css. That way you can upgrade the image store plugin with no problems. or you can turn off the image store plugin completely and create your own.
this is an issue with all versions of WP and the plugin, I will resolve this on version 3.0.0 or upgrade WordPress to the latest verstion
sorry that I took so long to reply but I am have been very busy. I can’t longer see your page, the sidebar has nothing to do with the plugin, you should be able to remove the sidebar by editing your theme or creating a page template for your galleries.
I am going to look into this, but I had not had any problems, before what other plugins do you have installed in your site? I will post my results in a few days.
you have to modify the css and thumbnail size to fit the columns in your layout, currently this si not set by the galleries, its control by the theme and the thumbnail size.
